2. General Terms of Use of the Website and Services Offered

The use of the service implies full acceptance of the general terms of use described below. These conditions may be modified or supplemented at any time, so it is recommended that users of the site regularly consult them.

The service is normally accessible at all times to users, but it may be interrupted at any time, without notice, for technical maintenance reasons.

The service is regularly updated, and the legal notices may also be modified at any time. However, these modifications apply to all users, who are invited to consult them regularly to remain informed.

3. Service Description

Dev Intern AI is a tool designed for developers, assisting them in code generation. Based on the developer's request, the service generates code suggestions. These suggestions are directly pushed to a GitLab Merge Request, allowing the user to review the changes. Changes are also explained in the Slack channel to the end user. The end user can also request modifications and adaptations of the suggested code. This can be done directly from the Slack app or by creating GitLab comments.

4. Account Security

The user is responsible for not sharing any security information, such as their registration code or one-time-password link, to ensure account security. Dev Intern AI cannot be held responsible for any damage to the user's account due to unauthorized access resulting from insufficient security.

5. Responsibility and Intellectual Property

Dev Intern AI uses Anthropic ClaudeAI for code analysis and code generation. While Dev Intern AI strives to guarantee content that matches user expectations, Dev Intern AI cannot be held responsible for errors and inaccuracies in the generated content. Despite our efforts, Dev Intern AI cannot be held responsible if the generated content is not fully optimized.

Dev Intern AI does not own any of the generated content.

Furthermore, Dev Intern AI shall not be held liable for any legal or technical issues arising from the content generated by Dev Intern AI.

6. Prohibited Content

Dev Intern AI is designed to generate content for programming and source code only. We implement precautions to ensure that Dev Intern AI does not engage in any other types of conversations.

Users are prohibited from discussing sensitive or inappropriate topics on Dev Intern AI. Such topics include, but are not limited to:

- Hate speech or discriminatory content based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.

- Graphic violence or gore.

- Illegal activities or substances.

- Sexual content or explicit material.

- Harassment or threats directed towards individuals or groups.

- Personal or confidential information of others without their consent.

- Misinformation or content intended to deceive or manipulate.

- Promotion of self-harm or suicide.

- Any other content deemed inappropriate or offensive by the platform administrators.

Users found violating these terms may face account suspension or termination, and their content may be removed without prior notice.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users are strictly prohibited from attempting to hack, disrupt, or cause technical issues to the functionality of the service. Any such activities, including but not limited to hacking attempts, denial-of-service attacks, or other forms of malicious interference, are expressly forbidden.

Users engaging in such activities will face immediate termination of their account and may be subject to legal action. We reserve the right to take all necessary measures to protect the integrity and security of our service.

By using the app, users agree to refrain from any actions that could compromise the stability, security, or performance of the app. Any violations of this policy will result in strict consequences, as deemed appropriate by the administrators of the service.

8. Shared Code Source Responsibility

We retrieve your entire codebase, store it on our instances, and share it with certain third parties.

While we implement basic security measures, we are NOT responsible for keeping your codebase safe and cannot be held liable for any data or source code alteration or unauthorized access resulting from sharing your codebase with Dev Intern AI. Dev Intern AI is an early-stage service. We strongly recommend using it for open-source development only.

By registering and creating an account on Dev Intern AI, you fully agree to How We Handle Your Codebase.

9. Use of JavaScript

Our service uses JavaScript.

We decline any responsibility for material damages related to the use of the service. Additionally, the user of the service agrees to access the site using recent hardware, free from viruses, and utilizing a regularly updated, state-of-the-art browser.

10. Cookies

During navigation, a cookie is installed on the user's device. A cookie is a small file that does not allow the identification of the user but records information related to the computer's navigation on a site.

11. Account Deletion

Users are free to delete their entire account at any time, directly from their account interface or by requesting account deletion at contact@dev-intern-ai.com.

Account deletion is immediate and directly deletes all the content of the end user from our database, including account information, all MR requests, and all MR comments and discussions stored in our database (retrieved from the Merge Request).

Each user of the same Slack workspace has their own dedicated account. So when one user of an organization requests account deletion, only their data is removed. Data of other users in the organization is kept until they request deletion themselves. However, an organization can request the deletion of the accounts of all its members by making a request at any time at contact@dev-intern-ai.com.

Code base linked to the Dev Intern AI account of the user is not removed from our server when requesting an account deletion. Removal of the code bases stored on our server is made from time to time, based on our own convenience. However, an end user can request that we remove all the copies of the code base we have linked to their account at any time by making a request at contact@dev-intern-ai.com.
